Newsletter September 2014.

Summer is always a busy time for Baldock Town Twinning and this year was no exception.

From 31st July to 3rd August twenty-nine people from Eisenberg visited us.

Getting to know each other again

Their visit started with a welcome reception in the Stotfold garden of the Hon. Chairman.

Towards the end of the afternoon we took the river boat for a cruise down the Thames to Kew, then the coach back home.

Friday saw an excursion to Hampton Court Palace and park, where the warm and sunny weather made the occasion even better than expected. The Palace was stunning, the gardens at their best.

Saturday was free time, until the Celebration dinner at the iconic Cloisters restaurant in Letchworth GC.

Most people went home Sunday, although a few stayed on with friends;
